I have 20” tires front and back which are identical. Someone at MB said I cannot rotate tires front/back, but had no explanation. If this is true, can someone provide an explanation. Having car serviced soon and would like to have them rotated without dismount, balance etc. Thanks

Tires are the same, but the wheel offset is different. You have to dismount and remount the tires. Not worth it in my book.

Thanks for the reply. I agree, but I seem to recall someone saying that spacers would overcome this and rotation would be simple. Originally Posted by BlueYonder

You can increase the offset with spacers. To rotate you would also need to decrease the offset on two of the wheels. I don't know how you can do that.
