2024 GLE 53 AMG Coupe v. 2025 GLE 63 AMG Coupe

I've had my 2024 GLE 53 AMG Coupe now for almost a year. She's got about 8.5K miles on her, and I was getting ready to schedule the first service. But when I was checking out the dealership's inventory, a 2025 GLE 63 AMG Coupe had caught my eye and I am currently exploring pricing for trading in my 2024 GLE 53 AMG Coupe that is paid off for the new 2025 GLE 63 AMG Coupe. My question is, how does the ride quality compare between the 53 AMG and the 63 AMG? Both models have the forged 22 inch rims (mine has the black ones and the 63 AMG are the regular colored ones). Also my 53 AMG Coupe does NOT have the Active AMG ride control whereas the 63 AMG comes with that as standard.

Is the ride quality in the 53 without the ARC similar to the 63 with the ARC? How noticeable is the difference? Also, how do they both compare to highway driving (I drive on the interstate for a minimum of an hour at least twice a month)? Also how do they compare in terms of maintenance? Are the service A, B, etc the same?

On a side note, I do love my 24 GLE 53 AMG Coupe, but I feel like it's worth a shot if I can trade this in for a 63 because I have heard theres some crazy incentives and discounts on them right now. Amex alone has $10,500 off on the GLE right now per their website!

IMO don't get a 53 without Active Ride Control. They're OK without, but Stellar with.

I'd be in a different brand if ARC wasn't available. (Cayenne with PDCC. Same tech, but not as well implemented.)

My GLE 53 AMG doesn't have ARC. I didn't add it because I wasn't sure about it, and also at the time I built my GLE 53 AMG Coupe that option was getting removed by the factory for other builds. The factory also removed the red interior and put black without telling me until it was too late to change it.

Wouldn’t it make sense to actually drive the car yourself before you plunk down almost $130k on a car. Only you can determine if the ride is right for you. You would take quite a hit on trade in but, obviously money isn’t an issue. I don’t think the 63 qualifies for the $10k incentive.
The $10k off is for a 24.

I guess I did not make it obvious enough, but I do plan on test driving the vehicle before signing any paperwork. I have not even gotten any numbers yet as I am still doing research.

I just want to hear from real people who have used either or both models/systems (ARC and no ARC), driven both, and have experience with both to get some real-world, day-to-day insight.

Before getting my 2025 AMG GLE 53 without ARC I test drove an AMG 63 and it’s a different ride. The 63 is a total Beast with the AMG hand built 8 cylinder. It makes totally different sound and has much more power than the 53. If you’re looking for the ultimate power then it’s for you. I prefer my GLE 53 SUV not Coupe as I think it’s more practical and it’s enough power for me and I don’t regret not getting the ARC. I did not notice big difference in ride comfort and sportiness of suspension. I did not notice effects of the ARC in the 63 but I did not take it on a track or push the speed limit. I did notice that the 63 drove heavier and felt like I was driving a bigger truck. You’re the best judge of what’s right for you and best is to take it for a test drive. You’ll get great deal on 2024. Question of the day is it worth it and it was not for me however for you it might be. Other issue was I think the 53 is a more practical daily driver.
