Distronic/Lane Assist Retrofit. Need clarity

Distronic/Lane Assist Retrofit. Need clarity
Perhaps someone with a Canadian model can chime in.
Long story short, bought our 2020 a good few months ago. My fault assuming it had Distronic Plus and Lane assist when I saw the Benz logo on the grill (prior models used hollow emblems)
Anyhow trying to clarify 2 things:
1. People are saying I cannot add lane assist because I need 2 camera's on the windshield. Models without lane assist have one. However, I do have the 2 camera plus the AR camera.
2. Also, I cannot add Distronic Plus (only Pro) as I would not have the active steering. However I have the full park assist stuff so active steering is there. Not sure about the long range camera though.
I'm honestly under the assumption that the Canadian models had the hardware and just needs the coding plus steering controls. Any Canadian's here that can chime in? Also any local coders? Our exchange is in the trash right now lol.
