I'm having trouble with the drivers side daytime running light of my GLE350 2020. When I start the ignition with light setting on auto, I get an error message "Right Daytime driving Lamp". The LED strip on the right light isn't illuminating and the right side indicator ticks very quickly but doesn't flash. When I switch to headlights on manual, the full beam headlights work perfectly, the daytime running light don't come on and the indicator light stays a constant orange.
The same thing happened in the summer, but the issue went a way by itself.
I've tried lifting and putting back the fuse for the exterior lights under the bonnet and pulled the power cable from the back of the headlight cluster and put it back, but no joy in resolving the issue. I even reset the computer.
Does anyone have any other tips, or am I destined for a £500 visit to a Christmas visit to a Mercedes dealership? Cheers.

When the headlight becomes foggy from inside and after some driving is clear without any drops of humidity that's OK, but if some drops became visible, they trickle down one by one directly into one of the ECU behind the headlight.

Try unplugging the harness, cleaning the contacts, and refitting firmly.
