Wiper Blades

Trying to find the part number for front wiper blades on my 2024 GLE580. Online I'm finding like 6 different part numbers for the same thing. Dealer won't give me part number just the price of $95 which seems high. How do I get the exact number I need without paying $95 so I can shop around.

If you click the first thread and read through it, you'll find several aftermarket options. Those product pages typically give the OEM part # as well. I like the bosch replacements which is highlighted in the thread.

I just got a pair of Bosch for the front wipers (have used Bosch for the rear wiper several times thus far with no issues). They are a thicker front wiper blade than OEM - but in the little testing I could do so far, they wipe very smoothly and no chatter. Let's see how they hold up in FLA rain compared to the OEM. I change them out every 6 months, so this is my 6th set of fronts since I brought the car home. Box pictures below for those looking for part numbers for the GLE.

Make sure you don’t have the “Magic Vision” blades. I think those are only available through the dealer.

The price that OP was quoted is nearly as much as magic vision blades which I think the cheapest I've read is $150ish. I wonder if his price includes labor because $95 for regular blades is outrageous.

Yeah I think the dealer charges close to 1 hour of labor ($100) for a 12 minute do it yourself job (free).

I recently replaced my rear wiper and the Bosch part number is linked below. I wonder if the OP's quote included the rear wiper in the $95 price.

Nope no labor, this price is me picking them up at local dealer. Not Magic Vision.

The dealer had put new wipers on and they chattered terribly. I took it back and they claimed to have cleaned the glass with some special process but it was not much better. I put a set of these from Amazon on my car a few months ago and they are so much better than the OEM wipers! They do not chatter or streak, they work as I expect wipers to. Can't argue with the price either!

Amazon Amazon

Be sure to remove the green protection strip after installation!

I can confirm the Bosch work great (both front and back). No chatter prior with OEM and no chatter with Bosch.

Ordered these, lets see how they are. I also ordered the BOSCH, but shipping is taking forever for some reason

Received my Bosch today and put them on. Real easy and they seem to be very nice blades...

I HATE the chatter so I just ordered a set of Bosch front and rear. Looking forward to trying them out.

I was reading a thread the other day but I forgot where it is, it talked about being able to adjust the angle of the wipers, maybe that might help or specific coating or lack thereof might help make the oem wipers not chatter or not as loud.

Yep, twist the arms. It's been true for decades, on all cars.
You want the blades to flip to a trailing wipe angle in both up and down swipes.
Like a squeegee. You don't push a squeegee.

I like VW Group's practice of reversing the Park angle at every other Park. They raise the arms 10mm or so, so the blades don't take a set

Good video. It's important not to just grab the blade and twist it, but use tools where you have a good grip and don't stress the blade connector, the blade, or the arm attachment.

I get my Magic Vision blades for my SL from FCP Euro because I pay once (effectively). When they need replacement, I order a new set, return the old set, and get refunded. They ain't inexpensive. You can find them a little cheaper on Amazon, but then you pay every time you replace them. I don't think you can get them aftermarket.
