2021 GLE Coupe 350 Hybrid - won't shift beyond 6th gear on electric (comfort mode))
Hey everyone!
I'm loosing my patience with my dealer/garage. Took the gle coupe to the garage again today for the 3rd time. Thankfully still under warranty, only 37K km's.
I would also appreciate any similar experiences and how they may have been resolved.

I'm loosing my patience with my dealer/garage. Took the gle coupe to the garage again today for the 3rd time. Thankfully still under warranty, only 37K km's.
- Problem started one day on the highway running 120 km/h, with cruise control, using the hybrid battery, when the transmission suddenly downshifted a few gears,
- Since then, the 9 speed transmission has strange shifting behaviors, mainly hovering around 6th gear instead on going up to 8-9th gear, mainly when on hybrid.
- Took to garage twice, each time they calibrated this and that, each time the shifting limit behavior changed slightly depending on the driving mode (comfort, individual, ECO) and whether using gas or electric.
- Latest is it will move up to 9th gear on the highway when in comfort mode and running gasoline, when using electric, not higher than 6th gear.
- The head mechanic (very young guy) says his diagnostics say all good. Therefore he does not see the problem that the gearbox does not go to 9th gear when on electrc power.
- Since I have personally witnessed how the 9tronic works in comfort/electric modes I challenged him (on his BS) to put his thoughts on normal behavior in writing to me. Then, they say they will check/verify normal 9tronic behavior with Mercedes directly.
I would also appreciate any similar experiences and how they may have been resolved.
