Clicking/popping sound after parking 2025 GLE 450. Is this normal?

Basically the title

Car info - GLE 450 / Brand New / 400 miles driven

Always hear this sound after parking the vehicle. It can be heard for ~ 10 minutes and then stops. From my understanding it's the different metal parts cooling which produces this.

It's normal to hear this sound particularly after a spirited drive but I ALWAYS hear it even when I drive the car even for 20 mins at normal speeds (30-50 MPH) in eco mode.

Wanted to check if someone else experienced this in their GLEs and is it worth taking a trip to the dealership to get this checked.

Appreciate any advice/opinions or general thoughts. Thanks!

It's normal at least in my experience. My 2024 450 makes pops from the heated metal even after driving just a couple miles away and back. The clicking is also normal as the system is turning off different sensors and systems. My 2024 350 was the same way before I traded it in for the 450.

You traded a 24 350 for a 24 450? You must have taken quite a hit for doing that.

Not really, because I had bought the 350 barely used with 1,000 miles, so it already had taken its first big depreciation hit. The prior owner who traded it in after a couple of weeks is the one who took a big hit on it. When I traded the 350 in it had 8k miles and traded it for CPO 450 with 8k miles.

Of course I took a little hit on it, but it wasn't bad.

Even on a short trip, your catalytic converter could easily approach a temp of 1000° F. I've never had a car that didn't do a little popping and clicking after being run.
