Bluetooth audio lag

Just got my 2026 gle450e and i noticed it has audio lag when connected to Bluetooth or iPhone CarPlay, sometimes just a slight lag but gets significant at times too. I also have audio lag with my 2019glc with different phones (android, iPhone 15 and now 16) and I thought it was just the car being old. But even with this new Gle,I still get the audio lag with my iphone 16, phone calls seem to be fine with both the glc and Gle. I haven’t tried wired connection tho. I never had this with Gle 450/ Gle 63/ G 63 or Honda odyssey.
does anyone experience this too? Is there a known fix?
thanks!

Yes, there is clear audio lag and I accept it as ok. It is probably due to an internal buffer (I.e. the phone sends audio to MBUX which then processes it and stores about 2 seconds give or take , which can be useful in case the source is a bit choppy).

I personally don’t have any problem with that.
