He's Chassis on Rennlist as well. According to his bio, @chassis owned a 2017 GLE 166. He seems to think the 167 is as bad as his '17.
Rest assured it's not. The '166s were a low point, IMO my worst car of the past 30 years - a step down from the 164. I've owned all three.
Consumer Reports is similarly stuck on that previous generation. Their biggest complaint is the cupholders.

To those of you here who have driven a car with the M276 3.5L NA motor, do you believe it has enough power to move the W166 or do you believe it to be underpowered and sluggish. Wanted to hear peoples opinions.

Inline -6 is soooooo smooth.

So, you are saying that driving my 2020 GLE on I24 in Ky. and Tn. caused my engine at 17000 miles to need the heads, coil pak, and fuel injector replaced. If you are not running 80 MPH, you will be runover.

My opinion is "no," at least until they're broken in - maybe 40,000 miles.
The Diesel or twin turbo versions overcome "sluggish."
