Climate Control Problems

Suggested same routine…” Don’t use auto setting… just ac and adjust fan and temp setting manually”. Not very assuring!
Thinking that reports of these AC systems being a “ weak link” may continue to have merit. MB however doesn’t seem to be willing to assume any responsibility. Just slipped out of warranty… not looking forward to a post warranty multi $k”s repair possibility. Shakes the confidence.
- Turning AUTO mode back on
- Resetting fan speed and airflow distribution
- Returning temperature zones to a standard 72 degrees
- Clearing manual overrides for passenger and rear seats (if you have 4 climate zones)
I know we have different cars but you may want to try that next time it happens.

This stuck actuator occured after winter. This is only an assumption but I think these blend door actuators get stuck with the heater use in winter and then once spring comes around, you get these issues. Are many of you from places with proper winters?

She is royally pissed and this is probably the end of her Mercedes journey. Hopefully we can get can a decent trade value and try something else.
