9G-TRONIC for RHD market?
Howdy folks. It's been a while!
The time has come to possilby upgrade my '13 ML500 to a new GLE500 (550). The ML has served me very well, and has now got close to 45,000kms on the odometer.
Apologies to our US friends who are no longer able to get a new GLE550 but I notice they're still available in Canada at least so I guess some of you are purchasing there and just crossing back over the border! (is that permitted?)
Anyway, currently a new GLE500 for our RHD market here in Australia comes with the 7G-TRONIC transmission, but I have noticed on the German website it's now got the 9G-TRONIC but our local dealers here are saying it's currently only for LHD market. I notice Canada still has the 7G-TRONIC on a new GLE550 though.
Does anybody have any information as to if/when the GLE500 will have 9G-TRONIC for RHD market please?
