Extended Warranty
Has anyone purchased the extended warranty? If so, what terms did you get and what was the price, if you don't mind me asking?
Picking up a GLE450 next week and I'm contemplating getting the extended warranty.

ask your dealer what his invoice is on the extended warranty and then offer something like 5-10% above his invoice. My last MB dealer offered EW of $1,100 and his invoice was $595. I offered $650 and he took it.

Which warranty was that for? Was it a 7 year / 100K mile warranty? Something shorter?
I think list for the 3-year / 100K mile warranty is $3700, so would be amazing if you could get it for $650.

That was the last time I bought an extended warranty. I lease now so I don't do them anymore. Point is, there is markup money on EW's also, so negotiate it.
