Turning on parking proximity sensor beep?
I didn't go for the Parktronic auto-parking option.
Does that mean I don't have any way to get a beep when I'm close to rear objects? I've seen the red bar in the rear-view camera, but expected to hear a beep or otherwise have some warning as I approach obstructions.
I found another thread from 2014 saying that the proximity sensors only come with Parktronic, but I guess I just want to believe I'm missing something because that beeping sensor seems incredibly useful (whereas autonomous parallel-parking seemed frivolous).
If not, has anyone installed, or had installed, something like this?
