Hitch Extender for Bump in Parking Garage -
Hey guys, i am trying to find out how far of an extension I need from my hitch, outwards to protect my bumper. My garage backs vehicles up to a wall and often let the bumper stop the vehicle. It ruins the bumper.
Was thinking about this product, but the reality is I just need a small arm, not a step, to stop the car hitting the wall. What alternatives might there be - and how far out does something need to extend to just an inch past flush?

I bought the BumperShield from http://superbumper.com/ and it's pretty awesome / seems like it would fit the bill for what you want too.

Ha - try finding a good garage in Manhattan NYC... And inside it you will find a unicorn.
