GLE 350 Trailer Hitch?

I purchased my GLE 350 recently and it does not come with a trailer hitch. The dealership does not have the option of ordering it either. I'm not looking to tow anything, but wanted to install it so I can secure a bike rack. Anyone know where I can order one that is compatible with this car? Thanks.

If you can sort out if the GL or E class rear ends are the same you can get a tow bar at etrailer.com

The GLE is too new they dont list any for it yet. But these suvs today typically have the same exact rear structure/underpinnings as their shared platform siblings.0

We had one installed on our ML350 from UHaul. They did a great job and it was a ton cheaper than our MB dealer.

Mbusa has it listed in their accessories page for the GLE models at $1100 bucks, I wonder if all parts that are needed are included.?

A gaggle of MB's
If you need a hitch-only/no-wiring - the Curt hitch (like installed by U-Haul) is just fine.

The MB-hitch/accessory - is hitch only - connecting harness/wiring (and labor) are separate.

Is there any welding involved, or it just bolts on to the frame?
Thanx

Go to the Curt Manufacturing page - go to the correct hitch for your MB - then download the install instructions - you can read them yourself - again the U-Haul deal is the best package - U-Haul gets the hitch for a bit less - charges you reasonable installed price - all good mate, don't get into stress..
