Got this today!

Well this popped up today and I cannot get rid of it (see picture). I even went by the dealership (they were very helpful considering I called and gave them 5 minute heads up) and they checked it too while I waited. The reservoir under panel next to the drivers side windshield IS full. The dealership stated I needed a new reservoir and they would have to order it. Ok, no problem but I have 2 questions.
1. They said to go ahead and drive it and I told them I leave tomorrow for a 4hr drive (one way) vacation. So is it good to drive it with this problem?
2. Does the reservoir have the sensor in it and that's why it needs changed out? It didn't appear to have one in it when I looked real quick. (Or could there be another problem?)

My expectations would be for the dealer to put you in a loaner for your road trip and the car should sit at a dealership until it is fixed. I urge you to question them to see who would be responsible if something were to happen given that they have acknowledge the issue and your SA should offer you a loaner.

Have the dealer accept liability if you run into a problem on the road if they say "no loaners available". Record your conversation on your iPhone.

About 3/4 into my 4.5hr drive, the light and warning went off. Now diving all around the beach, getting in and out, it's gone and hasn't come back on. Let me guess though, when I go back in next week they will not find any problem.

What warning popped up for you? What did it say exactly.

It was exactly like the picture showed. There wasn't anything else flashing or showing wrong. There wasn't even an error message in the "message area".
The dealership called the other day and said the part was in but we both decided since there was no error message now and the warning light was gone that we would not go changing anything out.
There were also no error messages on the M-B mbrace app either that he told me to check. Although as slow as that it, it probably won't get the message till sometime after Christmas.

Keep us posted. I am getting different messages here and there. Actually affecting my exterior lights.
