I'm all ready to order a GLE 400 SUV 4Matic and everyone in this forum is telling me to wait for the GLE43 SUV to be out, but I haven't seen anyone in the forums except you who has one. It is currently not available anywhere I know on East Coast, or for that matter, in the US right now. So? How do you like it?
What are the seats like?
Any turbo lag from 0-30?
How is total acceleration?
How does option list compare to the GLE400 - similar or the same?
Does it still come with just LEDs for normal beam lights and no LEDs for high beams and you need to get extra package (P2) to get the LEDs for both?
Is suspension same as GLE400 or stiffer?
Anything new in the interior?
If you can answer these questions, and provide any other guidance, it would be appreciated, since I may either delay ordering until first of year, or, and this is a BIG BIG or, go to Canada from East Coast to buy one. What city did you get yours in?
Also, wondering what the implications are of buying in Canada and bringing to US
2021 GLC 300 Coupe, Past ‘12 ML350 & ‘17 GLE AMG43 Coupe
We have had our MY2017 GLE43 Coupe for just under 3 weeks. Intelligent Drive (includes lighting) and premium package, multi-contour massage seats, hitch, obsidian black with black leather, open pore ash 3 zone climate control and pano.
Sooo worth the 155 day wait. Previously had 2012 ML350BT.
The seats are incredible
No turbo lag
Acceleration is outstanding
It has the 5 dynamic settings so the suspension is fully adjustable.
The ride and handling exceeds all of our expectations.
Still getting familiar with the major upgrade from the ML.
Haven't seen many of these around...and that can be a good thing with such a great looking vehicle.
IMHO. Of course opinions are always subjective....so far this is a great vehicle.

I have full size GLE43 for about two months now. No turbo lag very smooth power and more than enough for street and highway. I order the GLE with muti contour seat option which has many ways of adjustment and massage, I highly suggest you option them. I test drove GLE350 and GLE450 and really enjoy the sport+ setting on the GLE43/450.
She did good today. I've always had a true 4 wheel drive for times of snow, but I'll have to say in the little bit of snow we had today (2 to 7 inches in places) I didn't have much of a problem. The 4 matic was nice also because I didn't have to constantly switch between the different drives
I drove my 17 GLE350 home from the dealership I purchased it from and had a nice 500 mile test drive. It included some flat and open highway, some mountain highway and finished up with 125 miles in a snow storm. It performed very well on the snow covered highway. The 4matic system never gave me an indication that there was any slippage on any wheel. It helps that it is a heavy vehicle as well. Only trouble I had was when the front of the car was covered in snow, I had an error message that the radar system was blocked. Makes sense and it didnt matter anyway, the snow covered all the lines on the road.
