2016-2017 GLE 400 3.0 Biturbo V6 exhaust sound
For the owners of a GLE 400 SUV, not the Coupe, does the exhaust have a specific sound or "normal" sound when you accelerate. Does the sound change from comfort mode to Sport mode?
I have heard the new 2017 E400 with the same engine and 9G-Tronic (sport plus mode) but nothing on the GLE400. I also don't think the GLE400 comes with the sport plus, only the sport.

I only have sport and comfort (and then a useless individual programmable setting), no sport plus. And as far as the sound, it doesn't change no matter what mode you are in. It is a big pet peeve of mine and the car just seems to vroooooooom, vroooooooom as it goes. Ìt really isn't any different sounding than my wifes '14 E350. It just sounds boring and very seldom can you even hear the turbos.

You will be very disappointed if you are looking for any type of sound from that motor. It's a very boring SUV period but my wife loves it and I usually just nap with the baby in the back..
