2014 E350 & 2017 GLE 400

So...I've been holding out for a complete Intelligent Lighting retrofit, figuring somebody, somewhere will put a package together...but so far no luck. I'm in the southeastern US, and the only shop I've found that says they can do it want $5k and are in the UK. Probably doesn't make financial sense but I like the car and will probably keep it longer if the wife is happier driving at night, so the costs sort of balance out...but if I can't find anyone to do it, it actually may make sense to trade it in.
You are in the exact situation as me and my wife, we also have a E350 with the lighting package and a GLE 350. I was shocked at the difference to the point where I'm currently looking to trade in GLE 350 on either a GLE 350 or 400 with the lighting package.

So this is still the current fix? No cutting, just remove and reattach a socket? And the euro bulb adapter is included? I don’t need to buy anything other than this kit and a drill bit to make this work?

yes, the socket pops off with a small latch. Euro bulb adapter included. We also include velco strip, but some people prefer to use 3M double sided tape or zip ties to secure the ballast. Any will work.

Any suggestion for a good easy DIY HID kit for 2016 GLE350 headlight conversion?
Thanks
