Clicking or Rattling noise from Lid Sliding Area
i went to service four times for
clicking and rattling noise from the lid sliding area. When i press my finger on the panel Part A and B making clicking noise" see my picture ".
Service lubricated the area. it has done nothing. i have filed a compliant with MBUSA. Where else can i do? any suggestion?

Mine is the same issue. I have the GLE coupe and I rest my knee against the outside of that area. It clicks/pops/rattles like it's an American car. only thing that disappoints me about my car.

did u go back the dealer ? Did they fix it. I put towel in between part a n part b and the noise is gone(temp fix). Going back to dealer next week and it's fifth time.

have not gone back to dealer yet. I have a couple of curb rashes on my rims I need to get fixed at the same time, just too lazy right now. I have a feeling that they'll tighten a few screws and tell me it's fixed.

as I said, roll up the towel put in between part a n b. my noise is gone give a try for temp fix.
