Tire Pressure stock 2016 GLE3504matic
So, from what I gather by google the correct PSI is the one listed on the gas tank (Gas tank is 32 i believe and the door panel is in the 40's). I've noticed twice now that my dealer inflates them to nearly 45 PSI after service. You get no traction, the car feels very unstable, the ride is very rough, and when they did this in the summer the heated tires actually ended up around 48-50 psi. I deflate them down to 34-36 (cold ~32-33) and this seems to be a good balance of traction and comfort. What are other's running? What SHOULD these tires be inflated to? Why is there such a discrepancy between the door and gas tank values? Also, I think my dealership is full of idiots...time to find a new one :/

My dealer did the same thing to me when I picked up the car- they were inflated to 45.
I deflated them down to 40. A good balance- I think.

The is the deal - yes, correct factory recommendation is inside the fuel filler door.
For shipping purposes from the factory they are set at 45PSI - the Dealer is supposed to reset on vehicle checkin.
Yes - lower = "softer" and higher = "harsher" ... and tire wear is less at lower, and tire wear is longer at higher...
I have my guys set GLE's at 38 even all around as a starting point for our customers
