Kristall Klar windshield wiper solution
Kristall Klar windshield wiper solution
Has anyone used this product before ? German product, comes in a concentrated form that makes 7 gallons, at a cost of just over $1 per gallon, so it is reasonably priced. Seems like it is rated well on some sites around the internet.
Plenty of debate about whether you should mix with distilled or filtered water or just use regular tap water as it says it is formulated with conditioners.

Einszett is the German manufacturer - who is now changing retail brand in the US to Nextzett.
Einszett makes both the MB Winterfit and Summerfit small bottles..
The "steal" - if you can wait - is to backorder this Amazon price error:
https://www.amazon.com/nextzett-9425...words=Nextzett
Einszett also made "Glanz Wax" which has diappeared from the "new" US lineup - for spritz and sealant check out the Sonus acrylic stuff

Check with your dealer first. I was told by mine in no uncertain terms to only use "standard" blue washer fluid as the other colored (orange, green, etc.) fluids on the market today will damage a sensor in the fluid well & MB will not cover under warranty & you'll have a dash error light.
No offense... but what is being talked about here is the Einszett/Nextzett IS the OE supplier of MB washer fluid..
YES - if you are buying windshield wiper fluid where you buy your beer - YES only buy "blue" generic rather than those other colorful complications..

fabbrisd1- No offense taken, I was ignorant to that fact; I know all the other important factory fluids but I was not aware that they had a factory washer fluid. That said, I think that my point is an important distinction to make on the fluid as some people in the US will buy the more expensive orange stuff from Costco/others thinking it's better until they have to pay a $500 sensor repair bill! That said, what is a "steal" price on Nextzett? It listed on Amazon (@ $9/33.8 oz.) as a "concentrate" however, the mixing ratio for proper freeze protection in the Northeast USA would be less than 1:1, which, in essence, means that a $9 bottle of Nextzett from Amazon would make less than 1/2 gallon of "useable" washer fluid. Extending that out it is over $18 per gallon versus $1.70 for the blue stuff at grocery (or beer) store. Not certain of the environmentally friendly merits of product either and at a 1000% price difference you could donate $10 to other environmental causes and still save almost 50%!
