Count yourself lucky. My car screams at me whenever I park in our tight garage at our beach house. Raises the stress levels by 1,000%. It is so bad, I park the car outside. I am starting to hate my car..

there is a button on the dash to disable the parking warning feature. It is on the right hand side of the dash. Here is a quick YouTube video link.
