The top half of my door handles is chrome and I want it to be black. Has anyone tried wrapping them? If so, how durable is the wrap? Or Plastidip? Am I able to install new black ones completely at the dealer? I'll ad a few pictures of mine to show you guys what I mean. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
The door handles, as well as many other parts, are different on the Coupe. That's why we created a separate sub-forum. The Keyless Go unlock button is an indentation on the "painted" portion of the door handle. Therefore, wrapping the chrome portion will not affect its operation.
The Chrome strip is the "unlock" sensor - frankly - you won't know until after you wrap it - since it's a capacitive type sensor - the wrap could be fine - won't know until after it's done - and you reach to unlock the door

On my SUV they are on the painted part as well. Not the chrome part.
Maybe we don't need a separate forum.
(I'm not trying to start an argument)
