NEW 2016 GLE Still in dealers lot

A local dealer still has a brand new GLE - blue color. Curious to know if this is a good option for a lease or purchase. Its already ONE year old on the books. Any suggestions. Could it have been due to factory recall that did not get fixed on time?

We need to know more about it. How many miles are on it? What is the sticker, options, have you negotiated price? It's not normal but yes there can still be some "older" cars on dealers lots. It just depends on the dealer and how willing they are to sale a vehicle.

Does it show in his inventory on line? If so, can you access the Carfax? That might tell you a little of the history since birth.

A gaggle of MB's
Well...

There is (1) GLE350 Lunar Blue and (2) GLE350W4 that still show in Netstar across the US..

On a 2016 - this will have "lost" some 2016 incentives that have previously expired - you could always ask what they can do on a 2016 as compared to what they can do on a 2017

If it has all options I want, then yes I would still take it, for the right price. My 1st question though would be has it been punched already? If so, then I would expect them to also throw in an extended warranty to make up for the warranty time lost. In addition, I would want the batteries and tires to be checked from sitting so long.
