115v socket
Hi guys,
I am happy owner of Ml 350 CDI for USA market but I have it in Russia with option U80 SOCKET 115 V installed near 2nd row of seats.
Point is that in Russia we use 220v not 115v and I just want to know is it possible to change this converter in order to get 220V?
Also I cannot find any European car with this option to find alternative part number of this converter.
Thanks in advance

I have to agree with Ron. I think it would be easier to just mount a new inverter somewhere under the seats and use it to power whatever you need.
On a different note (now I'm not an electrical genuis) but shouldnt there be an inverter somewhere already in the car to power the current plug? Or is that what you are after to just simple change that one out to the 220v? (There maybe a reason that you cannot find any European car with that option.)
Good luck!
