How to operate logo projector lights?
Hi all,
My 2018 GLE350 is supposed to be outfitted with the logo projector lights. It's a silly feature but my wife likes it. Under Vehicle Settings, Locator Lights is on. How do I actually see it working? I turned the lights off in the garage to make sure I wasn't missing it or anything. I walk up to the car, unlock it, open the door and nothing happens.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

From page 46 of the 2017 GLE COMAND manual:
Switching locator lighting on/off
If you switch on the Locator Lighting function, the exterior lighting is switched on for a
short time when it is dark. The light switch must
be set to AUTO.
The exterior lighting remains on for 40 seconds
after the vehicle is unlocked. When you start the
engine, the locator lighting is switched off and
the automatic driving lights are activated.
You can find further information on the automatic headlamp mode in the vehicle Operator's
Manual.
X Call up Vehicle Settings ( page 45).
X To select Locator Lighting: turn and press
the controller.
X Press the controller.
The function is switched on or off, depending
on the previous status.
You can find further information on the locking
feature in the vehicle Operator's Manual.

depending on your vehicle's equipment
