i have one with stock halogen bulbs and I wanted to try out Philips X-Treme vision 100% H7 bulbs. I was wondering how hard it is to change the bulbs since I don’t know anything about changing headlights.
1. Do I need a special tool to remove the latch in the tire well? Could anyone take some pictures and show me how to change the bulbs or point me to some website or manual with instructions?

2. Has anyone tried the Philips X-Treme vision bulbs? Any improvements over stock halogen or am I wasting time? How long do they last if you have used them?

3. Would anyone recommend other DOT-approved bulbs over the Philips X-Treme vision bulbs? Why?

i cant comment on those but most of the people who hate the halogens go with the AZN kit and from the posts i see 99% satisfaction rate, if you wanna go that route

#3. Take the time to read the posts here on the Halogen to HID conversion. it seems daunting, it can take a good day of fiddling around, but it's WELL Worth it. I did mine 3 years ago and it has dramatically increase my vision and safety even when it's raining. No halogen will compare to doing this conversion. I made a post on my experience, do's and don'ts, etc. take a look.
