GLE400 Performance upgrades?

Hello, I'm the noob here. Not a noob to forums though. I scanned the entire 19 pages of this sub forum and came up with nothing. I'm about to sign papers on a 2019 GLE400. I was curious what is available for performance? I see Renn has a tuner for it, but I haven't found much else. Every turbo vehicle I've ever owned has responded really well to downpipes, and intake as well to maximize the tune. A little throatier exhaust would be nice too. I know the consensus is probably going to be that I should've got an AMG if I wanted more power and noise. But for a daily driver that my wife will be putting 75% of the miles on, it just didn't make sense to go that route. However it would be nice to have a few options to go with for the bit of time I spend driving this thing. Is there some options out there I haven't come across yet?

Thanks

Did you ever get a tune? I have just purchased a 2019 GLE400 also, and was wondering what you found out

I just got the PPF done on my vehicle. Haven't had much chance to do anything else yet. OEtuning reached out to me and was very helpful answering the few questions I had. I will definitely be going with them as soon as I am ready to pull the trigger. They are claiming about 80hp increase, with a 1-2mpg increase to fuel mileage as well. Seems like best of both worlds.

Yeah my warranty just ran out so I’ve been considering it if I don’t go with the new one. I need some ideas too. I haven’t looked but I’m assuming the new 400 is the same as my 400 that MB just discontinued for a few years in the US.

I think it's mostly the same. Few more HP in the new one, and I thought the transmission had a few more gears now.

More importantly than performance, I've found out that I need some proper sized running boards. The stock running boards are completely useless, they're just a slipping hazard being that narrow. Haven't had any luck finding anything with google.

Let me know if you get the tune, and how it does. I would like to hear some in seat experience, as the tune is kinda pricey
