2017 GLE350 4-Matic headlamps

I just bought a used GLE350 for my wife. Sister car to my 2009 CLK350 Cab. My bad I did not research something so simple as headlights and how bad these are - experienced the horror last night. Can someone net out for me my options....upgrade bulbs in current system (which bulbs)....upgrade light system - can dealer do it (I don't want to rip it apart myself). all suggestions are welcome.

What are the steps to install? Need to splice wiring; remove tires for access etc?

Azn optics is the best for what you want. Plug and play. No wheel liner removal or splicing.

Reasonably priced too

If you choose oem hid bulbs you'll need the adapter from your dealer to fit them. I would go philips xtremevision.

But 't he Azn optics kit is morimoto and apparently they are really top notch

No wire splicing. Kit designed to plug into existing own plugs. You just need access to existing bulbs and if you can reach it to change halogen, you can reach it to attach HID.

You mentioned these are 35w (OEM are 55w) How hot do they run? I have seen 55w Sylvania Silverstar zXe Xenon filled Halogen - problem is they run at 200 degrees celsius so they would melt the lens. How hot are your lamps compared to OEM temperatures (basic halogen)?

You'll be fine. A lot of us have been running these and haven't had any issues. I'm going on 3 years.
