MBrace after Verizon shuts down the 3G/cdma network at the end of 2019

Is anybody aware if Mercedes Benz has a plan in place for customers whose cars do not have LTE connectivity and rely on Verizon’s 3G/cdma network for features like mbrace remote start-stop and lock-unlock?

for example, I think , it was in 2017 that Mercedes switch the data connection module to LTE in GLE, so cars like GLE from 2016 and other similar cars won’t be able to continue with these features. Is Mercedes going to swap out the 3G modem with an LTE modem?

I too am wondering about this and can't find anything online. My mom's S550 is a 2014 model and definitely has 3G, yet as of September 2021 Mercedes let her renew her telematics subscriptions and they all still work.

I know in past circumstances (2005, for example, when they had to switch from analogue to digital cellular)) they did perform retrofits to enable the cars to continue to work.

I remember when they switch from analogue to digital. Mercedes wanted over $1,000usd to upgrade the units in my 2004 CLK500. For so many years I could not get rid of that stupid error message because of that I was force to live with it.
