Too late to order a 2019 GLE Coupe?

I notice that MB USA's website has already switched over the GLE build configurator to the newly redesigned V167 platform, but still displays the old (current) W166 design when building a GLE Coupe online. Does this mean the GLE Coupe models (like the 2019 AMG GLE43 and GLE63) are still being produced (perhaps on a factory assembly line separate from the regular GLE)? Or has production already ceased for all W166-based models? (Because they've already transitioned over to the newer V167 platform, so no more W166s can be built.)

Thanks for that link, but according to that thread, the new 2020 GLE coupe still seems a long way off, so I'm wondering if it's still possible to order a 2019 of the older bodystyle. I didn't see that topic specifically covered in the other thread, unless it's implied (because the release of a 2020 order guide means the 2019 order bank is already closed?).

Yes, you can still build a 2019 Coupe. They wouldn't stop production on those before starting production on the 2020 models. On the website, you can configure a 2020 GLE SUV. However, you can only build a 2019 AMG SUV or Coupe (also being an AMG). Although they're all built in the same factory, it's a completely different production line. There hasn't even been an official pic of the 2020 Coupe, just the spy shots below. Since you can no longer build a 2019 SUV, I'm assuming production has already stopped on that model. Therefore, anyone wanting a 2019 SUV is limited to vehicles already in stock.

I think it's really idiotic that during the entire build process, no where on the website does it tell you what model year you're actually building. Whose stupid idea was this? It's been like that for years. Did nobody at MB ever notice this? It's like they designed the website, but never bothered actually using it. Sort of like the volume control with no volume "bar" to show you what level you're on. If you've ever used the audio system, you immediately notice the absence of this feature. Come on MB. You have to do better than this if you want to live up to the slogan "The best or nothing at all".
