I had no idea that finding a 4Matic P3 CPO with the AMG package + 20" wheels would so hard! Well, I found one in suburban Chicago earlier this week. I made the 8 hour drive up there on Thurs. to make the deal. On the test drive I was pleasantly surprised. The NA 3.5L has plenty of power and torque. The ride is nice and tight and the engine has a pleasant exhaust note. As for looks, I think the vehicle is stunning.
When reading the build sheet I saw that the vehicle came with 3 years of free nav updates. The previous owner didn't do any. And it just so happens that I'd missed the 3 year mark by 2 days. But the dealership did it for me anyway. I was very pleased.
On that note, I must give a shout out to MB of Hoffman Estates. I've bought 30+ cars, and this experience was one of the best. On Wed. night, the general sales manager spent ONE HOUR with me on the phone talking about various things. That's amazing. At the dealership, everyone was exceptionally courteous, knowledgeable, and customer focused. They went above and beyond.
