So my wife took a new job and her commute went from about 15-20 miles to about 60miles one way. The GLE doesn’t get great mpg for this long commute but she loves the ride and the high end interior. I’m wondering if there’s any tunes out there that net better mpg? I know on her last Audi there was a tune that improved performance but also mpg! Anything like that for these vehicles?

One of our members suggested this to me. My '14 GL450 CPO seemed to stay in the lower gears for longer periods of time. I would come out of the driveway and go 150 ft to the stop sign and it would stay in D1. After resetting it gets to D2 before the stop sign. I can see that it upshifts much more quickly now with easy throttle. I drove 350 miles earlier this week and got 18 mpg! That's real world fill up to fill up. Best before the reset was 16.5. When I did the reset I was very careful to use light throttle all the time. If you have the same tranny then you have nothing to lose by trying this. Good luck.
