Hey all,
Anybody, like me, appreciate having a v6 over a 4cylinder engine?...
i like the new V167 a lot, but i can appreciate having an old NA V6 engine(with more horsepower) as a trusty reliable engine.
Although the new transmission would be nice, along with the interior, i still am happy with my W166!
Browsing the forums, we don’t often see threads complementing our car, but i can testify that my 2016 has been “old” faithful through and through.
On a tangent, twice in the last two years, most recently last month(dec’19) i’ve left my car in long term parking in way up northern NY in sub freezing temperatures for over a month, and trusty Merc has started up each time with no hesitation(phew! 3+yr old battery).
i can also admit, i like our exterior design a little better than the new. To me, ours just looks more muscular haha. (Also, anybody notice how compared to the GLC doors, ours are like armored trucks?)
Except, if one were to offer me a v167 for my w166 no money exchanged, i’d probably take it...haha...still, just saying, our car is pretty rock solid!
Just spreading some positivity out there, hoping i’m not the only one with these thoughts...
