Hello -
Please let me know if there is any special item needed when changing engine oil for 2016 GLE350 beside drain oil, replace filter (pn 276-180-00-09), fill new oil (Mobil 1 120760 Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-40), reset service timer?

That's the basics. Wouldn't hurt to check the brake pads and rotors for being in range, wiper blades and all the lights too.

I drained my oil through the drain plug since it serves to flush out any sediment and solids that collect in the bottom of the oil pan. Videos online have shown that the suction method effectively removes the full quantity of oil, but it isn't that big of a deal to remove the belly pan, plus it let me inspect areas normally hidden.
Make sure you replace the copper drain plug washer. The dealer gave me a washer so I know people change their oil this way, just be aware there are two diameters used.
