thought I'd start a thread on getting together a list of items or issues one should look out for or complain about to dealer before warranty expires... I'm a newbie GLE 43 owner and warranty expires next April 2021 or 7,000 more miles... what are some items?

Good idea. I’m close to you in months and mileage.

Items for a 3.5L NA M276/722.9 vehicle:
- cracked wood trim mainly on the front doors
- clicking in the steering column from the dash “firewall” bearing
- leaking cam sensor gaskets on the front of the cylinder heads
- leaking engine rear main seal as seen from below
- weeping or effervescence of coolant around the lower aux or booster pump below main coolant reservoir

The above items are not catastrophic, but if you want to dig and be thorough, there they are.

I did a pretty thorough suspension and driveline visual inspection a few days ago, looking for leaks and damage. All good!

My GLE450 is still relatively new to me as I got it at 40k miles, but the two warranty items I've had to get fixed on mine was:

Power to the Heat/Cool Cup holders had to be repaired
Spoiler had to be replaced
