GLE Fuel Level Warning
Hi all,
New here and hoping someone will be able to help;
I have a 2017MY GLE43 which I've had a for a month or so now, and I have noticed that when the fuel light comes on, there is no audible warning? Just pops up discreetly on the display - this isn't exactly an important issue it's just not like any of the vehicles I've previously owned (except the bike of course!) so it got me wondering.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can change this?
If not, no worries, just thought it would be worth an ask!

Just happened for me last week.
Dash light turns on near the fuel level indicator needle. And a message on the MFD (or is it the COMAND screen?) asking if I want to search for a fuel station.
No audible warning that I recall. I believe reserve fuel is approx 10% of tank capacity which in the GLE SUV is around 2.5 gallons of reserve.
I am not aware of a setting to change this. For another reason I recently took a trip through all of the MFD and COMAND settings and this (fuel warning) doesn’t strike me as being an option.

Thanks for the fast response, I believe mine just appeared in the MFD screen only, this may be because I was in Apple CarPlay at the time, perhaps?
I too have just spent some time flicking through the settings on the MFD but can't see any warning settings anywhere, and all I seem to find on the main display is for the interior/exterior lighting options!

I have a 2016 and same thing occurs. No audible chime at all. Light comes on and I think it says "Low Fuel" (or something similar) in the MFD/Command screen in front of the steering wheel. I have to hit "OK" on the steering wheel to clear the message.
