2016 GLE 350 -tailgate
Hi, My first post and hoping a member can assist. Our 2016 GLE tailgate makes a clicking sound but won’t lift from the key fob or door switch. Motor sounds find, clicking sounds after the chime alert.

The car is being worked on? Let us know what they find.
It could be the motors are out of calibration or failing.
Could be the latch.
This doesn’t come up much in the W166 forums.

Thank you and yes it is being worked on. Warranty expired February if this year and it has 47,000 miles.
Latch connection seems to be the place to focus, will know more today 8.10.20.
