Active Brake Assist
Replaced my 2008 ML350 with 2017 GLE3504MATIC CPO.
As I was reading owners manual, under the section on Active Brake Assist, the vehicle will sound alert and will brake autonomously if driver does not intervene.
I'm assuming this is standard equipment, there are no indication for options.
Has anyone experienced autonomous braking?

I have option code 258 Collision Warning System w/Active Brake Intervention FCW Stop
I have experienced the warning system, but not a brake intervention. My guess is the warning is in advance of the braking intervention.

So I went to datamb and mine does have code "258 COLLIS.WARN. SYS. W/ ACTIVE BRAKE INTERV. FCW STOP"
and I checked my original window sticker, it indicates active brake assist and brake assist system under the Standard Features.
