GLE Tow pack
I'm looking at getting a 2016 GLE that will be used for towing, but there isn't a lot of tow pack cars about. I'm struggeling to find information for retro fitting the tow pack on the GLE. I've found the kit and info for the W166 ML like this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...ch-wiring.html which lead me to this kit 1663100195. But I'm not sure if it's applicable to the facelifted GLE?

You are better off going to your local parts department and asking about the wiring kit. If you have a GLE350 or GLE43, the tow hitch isn't a problem mounting. The GLE63 requires a clearance trim on the bottom black trim piece that isn't difficult to do. Just remember the old Russian adage, measure twice, cut once.
