nice quick mod for those with the night package
We like the all black look of our 2017 GLE 43 with the night package...
never liked the red reflector on the lower bumper...some folks tint or smoke out the reflectors while others paint them to match the bumper... those scenarios can often reduce our eliminate the reflective nature...
I decided to wrap the reflectors in black reflective tape... looks black and lights up in a bright reflective white when hit by lights...
pretty simple, remove two screws on each exhaust tip, remove exhaust tip...
access to clips behind bumper and then the reflector is loose and can be easily pried loose...
wrap the reflector with 3M black reflective tape and reassemble...
first side took 30 minutes, second side about 15 minutes...
I like the result... clean look to the rear bumper and reflective when you need it...
