I have a 2016 Gle450 4matic amg with no tunes no recent update, it always crackles on Sport+, I have had it for months now whenever it’s in sport+ it pop and crackles When I let go of gas, I noticed yesterday no more pops and crackles I tried again today also nothing... anyone with that experience???

How many miles do you have and when was the last time you changed your sparkplugs?

I have 48000km atm and no idea when last the spark plugs was changed, also I recent got notice on my dash for a service A9 due in 26 days.

Strange. Take it in for service and have them check for errors in the ECU.

It was a discussion about that and I notice that when I test drove the GLE43. I try to produce it with my GLE400 (could not). Not sure the GLE450 does it but I won't be surprise. It's how the ECU is program with the fuel and air mixture. Maybe your ECU relearned itself by your driving habit (I'm taking a wild guess).
