Question Servicing 725 auto transmission - do I need Xentry?

Hi,

Hope you can help. I have a 2016 model W166 with a 725 transmission. It's a 3 litre diesel model in the UK.
I want to do my own service - replace ATF (and torque converter drain) and swap out filters etc.
I've watched every youtube video - most video's focus on the 722.9 transmission.
However on the 725 transmission, it seems you need a special tool to empty the transmission fluid AND you need to buy a new transmission cover as the 2 filters are built into the cover itself. Whilst I'm happy with this, most videos end with finishing up connecting the vehicle to Xentry and running through some specific setup steps demanding particular engine speeds for 2 seconds etc.

I just want to know if I have no choice but to take this vehicle to a specialist to complete the task - or can i safely skip the Xentry steps and just replace the fluid and cover?
There doesn't seem to be as much information on a DIY ATF service on this 725 model gearbox as compared to the 722.9.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.
