convex blind spot mirrors
any one using a small convex blind spot mirror on their outside mirrors? looking for one that fits the upper outside corner of each one.
i don't want a cheap looking round ore wedge shaped one...
I think they all look cheap and cheesie. But that's just me. There are tapered/teardrop shape items as you mentioned, I saw one on a vehicle recently. I don't look for this things so don't have a suggestion. Amazon? Google?
I know this is kind of an old thread but I could never get my left side mirror to pivot out far enough to see the blind spot (I'm tall and have the seat all the way back and all the way down). I wrote to MB about it and all they could say is "that's the way it is".
After some searching, I found that the cars in Europe come with different mirror glass that vastly improves the viewing angle for the driver. So I searched on eBay and found a seller that had them - Mercedes original equipment. The seller was in Czechoslavakia and the left side mirror was about $100 (it has a Mercedes part sticker on it and incorporates the blind spot monitor light, auto dimming and heating) but it came promptly, was easy to install and works perfectly. You can do an eBay search for mirror glass 2016 mercedes-benz gle350 to find one.
I only needed the left side but they are available for both the left and the right sides.
