Looking for a way to block the EGR without removing
Hello guys, so I've searched around for a number of days looking for anybody that has blocked their 350D EGR valve without removing it but have not found a thing. I would like to keep my warranty in place for another 18 months and so need a way to restore the EGR to working condition when i bring her in for service. My Dodge was easy i just removed the electrical connector on the valve until I needed to bring her in for service then 5 second plug it back in all was well, once out of warranty full delete turbo back and never once regretted it.
Anyway hoping somebody has some knowledge on disabling that EGR while not at the dealership to keep warranty in place and protect the motor from all that gunk. Yes i saw the blanking plates in this forum but those are not really "quick" adjustments so i was hoping for software or an idea to patch this up until i can delete the whole thing
i have a 2016 GLE 350d
Thanks
