Hi - i have a 2018 gle 350d Amv line night edition which we purchased recently from a private seller, recently started showing coolant top up message on the dash.
just wondering which coolant is best advised for top up i.e can i buy compatable coolant from Halfords or visit the dealership to buy.

For adding a cup, or even 2 I would just put Distillate water.
For more addition, buy MB coolant.
I am big fan on MB coolant as over the years I experienced its superiority.
I put it even into my Ford trucks, where the results was that the radiator fan stop engaging on small hills, saving me fuel money.
Make sure you get the correct color, There is Yellow, Blue, Pink, etc. I almost put the Blue one in from my old CLK and realize the color was pink before i put the blue one in (first time I saw the pink color).
