GLE Coupe brake disk longevity
Hi,
What is a normal longevity of break disk on a GLE 43 Coupe? My car went for maintenance service (80k Km) and was told to replace again (replaced at 40k Km) brake disks along with pads.
Is it normal? Car is only driven in city.

WOW!
my GLE 350 at 85K miles is still on the original front brakes and the rears were changed at 50K. And my vehicle is big and heavy…

2017 GLE350 4MATIC
I have 90k on a GLE 350 and front rotors and pads are factory original. I replaced rear pads and rotors I think at 45k miles or so. MB SUVs eat brakes, especially rears, and tires.

This is very individual issue.
Rotors for me are always lifetime parts, unless I buy vehicle with them badly scratched.
Pads usually last >100k miles, when Akebono pads on my sedan were calculated to last about 400,000 miles as 110,000 miles under my driving wear about 25% of them.
Than my stepmom needs new pads every 20k miles, but following her 1 time it was pretty obvious she is driving with her left foot on brake pedal.
