I currently own and love my 2020 GLC AMG 43 but have been considering an upgrade to a GLE for more room, and because the wife feels like the GLC is not nearly as comfortable as our pre-Merc Lexus RX 200t.

How much more comfortable and "luxurious" are the standard 400d seats compared to the AMG ones? Is it substantially noticeable, so much so that it would be worth the upgrade? Or is it nominal and a waste?

At this point, the wife is jazzed about the Lexus LX 600 while I would prefer to go with a GLE, whether its an AMG or 400d, because I find the Merc's are just so much sexier, more fun to drive, and the interiors are amazing.

Any thoughts will be really helpful. Thanks!

Not sure if you are looking at the new GLEs, but be careful , it s new design/model and there have been some issues with it.

I saw the first year models were plagued with random issues, but have not heard of major concerns with the newer model. What have I missed?
