Service 0 exceeded

2018 GLE350

Service 0 exceeded

Recently purchased a 2018 GLE 350 4Matic from a Mercedes dealer. It has 52,000 miles on it.
Under the ASSYST menu it says SERVICE 0 (zero) exceeded by 30800 miles (and counting).
I can't find anything on a SERVICE 0. Would appreciate all thoughts and suggestions.

If it's under warranty, take it back to dealer they can hook up xentry reset it/or need an oil change.

No longer under warranty. They said it had an oil change right before I bought it. The message says exceeded by 30,800 miles, meaning it would have needed an oil change 30,000 miles ago. Unlikely.

Do you have service invoice from dealer ? You can bring back to them to reset. Or u can do it yourself.

Tried to reset it. No luck. Turns out that the car needs a software update. Known bug they say. Why the dealer I bought it from didn't fix it I don't know. They tell me it had to have popped up after I bought the vehicle (about 900 miles ago) . If that's true, why does it say "exceeded by 30800 miles" ?

Did you try driving it for 100 miles then resetting? I seen that being the cause on other MB models, it will say condition not met until you drive it a little then it lets you reset.
